 10 November 2009 - 23 November 2010 Humberside Police use an Intelligus Appliance  Humberside Police Authority (HPA) have worked alonside PFIKS to implementan Enterprise wide corporate Intranet and Data Warehousing solution to meet the requirements of HPA’s Information Factory Project. PFIKS implemented its Intelligus.NET collaboration and knowledge portal for some 4000 operational and administrative users within Humberside. The system is used to meet a number of the Force’s current priority initiatives including:- Single Point of Access to Information - Providing force wide access to a data warehouse enabling single point of access to, multiple force systems, including Intelligence, Crime, Custody, Domestic Violence, Child Protection, and Command & Control.. This includes LYNX 2, a web based application specifically designed for operational officers, originally developed and implemented at South Yorkshire Police.. Improved Business Performance Communication - Providing senior officers and their teams with up to date business performance management information, to analyse trends, perform drill down to specific incidents and to have access to information relating to hotspots of activities or incidents. Enhancing Collaboration with Partners - Providing a collaborative working environment for joint working with other forces, and external agencies. This will underpin Partnership programmes such as Crime Reduction, Stronger Communities, Safer Communities etc. and also assist with “cross border” crime involving adjacent forces. Force Wide access to Services - Providing a force wide Intranet including portal and content management capabilities, supporting a variety of systems and processes, both operational and administrative. MOPI – Underpinning the Force’s activity relating to MOPI compliance “This project is intended to extend our force data warehouse facilities, and has realized our vision of a force wide “Information Factory”. We have worked with PFI Knowledge Solutions to deliver significant benefits, particularly for operational officers and the people of Humberside”.
